Every DLS user has had to deal with dust and artifacts in their samples. Or there are particle components that are just so large that the scattered light obscures the smaller particles.
Customers often have mixes of samples but the sample appears as a heterogeneous Gaussian distribution. DLS does not elucidate any structural changes, unless models or algorithms are applied.

Spinvette is a new type of cuvette that allows the user to centrifuge the sample up to 25,000g and sediment out unwanted particles, leaving a solution that is clean and available for direct analysis in the DLS system without the need to pipette.
